We had a great time at Blue Roost Farm visiting Papa Chuck, Memaw and all of the animals! The McGowens were there, too. Mase enjoyed getting dirty, playing hard and eating giant, gooey marshmallows with his cousins. They got to ride through the woods on a golf cart, hold baby chicks and even helped plant some corn. (Excuse his closed-eye look. Apparently it's in style, he takes all of his pictures with his eyes closed these days.)

The moon was amazing, the closest it has been to Earth in 18 years! It was a great moon to camp under. The local wild dogs thought so too, they set up shop outside of the tent and barked/howled all night.
Nick and I had an early eight-mile run at Beavers Bend. What a glorious run! The trees were beautiful, Mountain Fork River was beautiful, the smells/sounds/sights of the wilderness recharged us. Running in Broken Bow is much more scenic than central Oklahoma. Thanks to Greta for letting me borrow her running/tennis shoes!
